We would love for you to come "sit" with us, "drink" Living Water with us, and "eat" with us as well. Jesus once made this stunning statement to his disciples, "I have food to eat that you know nothing about," (John 4:32). He proclaimed he had secret food to offer them. He then unveiled what he meant saying, "My food is to do the will of the one who sent me and to complete his work," (John 4:34). Later on in the book of John Jesus proclaimed himself to be the Bread of Life, the ultimate nourishment for our hungry inner-beings. We believe God has created you for a purpose. We believe when you begin offering your gifts to Jesus and serving him with your life, your soul will experience a satisfaction nothing else in the world can offer. Here are some biblical examples of why we think it's important for you to "eat" with us! (John 4, John 6:35, Psalm 104:13)
We are passionate about caring for people through providing clothing to those in need. There are many ways to "eat" at Closet Angels. The first is to drop off any clothes you are no longer wearing. Secondly, Closet Angels can only succeed through faithful volunteers. We are always praying for God to raise up volunteers for this worthy ministry! Email Lori for details! The second Tuesday of the month, our church ministers to those in prison. It's clear in scripture that it's a powerful thing to visit those who are incarcerated. We travel to the local Albany jail on these nights to listen to the prisoners, encourage them and share scripture. Email Pastor Anthony for details (email@example.com)
Our youth director could use women and men who are passionate about the gospel and youth to help him demonstrate the love of Jesus to the teenagers of Albany!
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me," (Matthew 19:14). At MMPC we highly value children and are always looking for caring adults who have a heart to demonstrate the love of Christ and to teach his word. Email Courtney for details! (firstname.lastname@example.org)
We think it's so important to show our town how much Jesus loves them. One of the best ways to demonstate the gospel is through hospitality. If you have a heart to help us make people feel welcome to come and "sit" with us, email Pastor Anthony (email@example.com)
We are passionate about finding ways to share the gospel in Albany and throughout the world. If you would like to be on a committee to pray and act in ways that impact our town for Christ, email Pastor Anthony (firstname.lastname@example.org)
